There is no country that is not experiencing the drastic effects of climate change. Greenhouse gas emissions are more than 50 percent higher than in 1990. Global warming is causing long-lasting changes to our climate system, which threatens irreversible consequences if we do not act. Sustainable Development Goal 13 (SDG 13 or Global Goal 13) about climate action is one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations in 2015.

The decade between 2010 – 2019 was the warmest decade recorded in history. Currently, climate change is affecting the global community in each country in the world. Its impact affects not only national economies but also lives and livelihoods, especially those in vulnerable conditions.

The targets cover a wide range of issues surrounding climate action, including to strengthen resilience and adaptive capacity to climate-related disasters.

Probritto as an environmental Conservation organization works for SDG 13 or climate action. Climate action is moreover related to climate stabilization. So we’re heading towards the targets of SDG 13 through reducing global warming, decreasing the use of fossil fuels, reducing plastic pollution, etc.
